Zac Efron’s New Travel Show ‘Down To Earth’ Is Coming To Netflix Netflix

When you think of travel shows, Zac Efron probably doesn’t immediately come to mind as an ideal host. However, the actor has spent the past several years learning how to live sustainably and in order to do so, he traveled with world with wellness guru Darin Olien and filmed it for a new Netflix series called Down to Earth. Not only does it look amazing, but it’ll be out next month!

  1. Efron gets to visit some pretty amazing places for Down to Earth. I’m talking the likes of France, Puerto Rico, the UK, Iceland, Peru, Costa Rica, Sardinia, and Iquitos. In each of those places, Efron aims to “find some new perspectives on some very old problems,” according to the man himself. Pretty cool, eh?
  2. There are some important lessons in Down to Earth. Throughout his journey, Efron and Olien eat all, learn about cool eco-friendly projects happening around the world, and really think about consumption and how to live without taking so much from the earth. “Food, water and energy are all the main staples for modern life. We’re going to see some top eco innovators to see how change is an inside job,” Efron explains. “And we’re going to be eating really, really well. We need to start rethinking how we consume everything, from our food to our power. Change has to start somewhere. Maybe it’s about time we all changed. It’s time to get down to earth.”
  3. We’ll also get to see some really beautiful scenery and learn about other cultures. That’s the best part about travel shows and Down to Earth is no exception in that regard. Efron will showcase some of the most interesting and lesser-known parts of the places he visits while also using it as a learning opportunity for himself and the audience, which is a win-win.
  4. Down to Earth will hit Netflix on July 10. Until then, you’ll have to wait patiently. It’s going to be amazing!
