Signs You’re Stuck In Your Comfort Zone And Need To Take Some Risks

It’s called a comfort zone because it feels really relaxing to stay in it, but it’s not always a fuzzy, warm feeling in there. You might just start to feel trapped because you’re following the same routines and you’re not living to your highest potential. Are you stuck in your comfort zone? Here are 15 signs to look for so you can start breaking out of it.

1. You never feel ready.

You might say you want to start a business but you’re not ready because you don’t have enough money. Or, maybe you don’t feel ready to get into a relationship because you’ve got too much going on. Stop with the excuses and ask yourself what you really want. Don’t you think it’s worth jumping in? You’re never going to be 100% ready for anything in life, and that’s okay!

2. You’re afraid of making mistakes.

One of the most common reasons why you’re stuck in your comfort zone is that you’re terrified of messing up or doing something wrong. You don’t want to risk failure, so you’d rather stick around in your current life and way of being. How long will that really make you happy?

You can’t get out of your comfort zone if you’re negative about it. You’re keeping yourself stuck if you’re always telling yourself that you’ll never succeed at your goals or you’ll never change your life. It’s not doing you any favors. You have to let go of your limiting beliefs so you can accomplish big things.

You might be looking for short-term gratification to get you through stressful days, such as putting off your tasks in favor of having drinks at the bar or hitting the snooze button instead of taking time before work to plan for your day.
