Jared Leto has been a fixture in Hollywood since he appeared on our screens as Jordan Catalano on the hugely underrated “My So-Called Life” back in 1994. Since then, he’s continued to take on dozens of acting roles as well as touring with his band, 30 Seconds to Mars. However, perhaps the most impressive feat Jared Leto has ever pulled off is not looking anywhere near his age. He recently celebrated a birthday, and fans were shocked to discover how old he is after seeing his most recent selfies.

- Jared Leto just turned 51 but he doesn’t look his age. He was born on December 26, 1971. However, you wouldn’t know it to look at him. Not only does he look much younger, but he also has the body of a man in his twenties. How is he pulling this off?!
- Fans were losing their minds in the comment section of Leto’s Instagram post. He took to the social media network to post a series of shirtless selfies, writing: “Naughty or nice?? Merry xxx.” It wasn’t long before the comments went nuts. “I refuse to believe you’re turning 51,” one person said. Another chimed in, “HE’S 51?!” Another added: “Christmas Day just got a whole lot better.”
- Some suggest that Jared Leto doesn’t age because he’s a vampire. A joking comment, but it’s hard not to think there’s some kind of supernatural power involved because seriously, he looks exactly the same as he did 20 years ago. How many of us could say the same?
- He seems to have a penchant for posting shirtless photos on his birthday. Last year, for instance, he took another shirtless selfie during a break from filming. In the picture, he was holding a piece of cake and giving the thumbs up. He also had a bit of fake blood around his mouth, but that’s not really what anyone was concentrating on. Ahem.
- To be clear, there’s nothing actually wrong with aging. “Looking your age” is a privilege, not something to feel bad about. Not everyone is lucky enough to celebrate another year, so your physical appearance doesn’t matter. While it’s noteworthy that Jared Leto is so handsome and maybe doesn’t look like a “typical” 51-year-old, there are more important things in life. In the meantime, we’re just going to sit and appreciate the beauty in front of us.
