Amber Heard Says Jason Momoa Purposely Dressed Like Johnny Depp To Mess With Her On Aquaman 2 Set DC Studios

Amber Heard privately told her therapist that she believed Jason Momoa was trying to play mind games with her by dressing like her ex-husband, Johnny Depp, while they were working on “Aquaman 2.” The claims were made public after new legal documents from Heard and Depp’s 2022 defamation trial were made public this week.

  1. Amber Heard had a lot to say about Jason Momoa in therapy. Among her claims were that he turned up to set drunk often and that he personally tried to get her fired from the movie. Of course, a DC rep says that never happened, insisting that “Jason Momoa conducted himself in a professional manner at all times on the set of ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.’”
  2. She believed he was trying to mess with her by dressing like Johnny Depp. Heard told her therapist that Momoa copied Depp’s style, from his clothes to wearing multiple rings on his fingers, Variety reports. However, a source pointed out to the publication that this is just Momoa’s “bohemian” style, which he’s had for years.
  3. Heard didn’t feel she had the support of “Aquaman” director James Wan, either. “He raised his voice @ me — ‘I can’t even post about Aquaman’ — made it like it was my fault — I said ‘I’m sorry.’ Nobody could take selfies with me on set given blackout,” read the notes of one of Amber Heard’s sessions with therapist Dr. Dawn Hughes.
  4. Warner/DC apparently wanted to get rid of Heard without Momoa’s intervention. According to the legal documents, they weren’t so bothered about her drama with Johnny Depp. Instead, they didn’t think she had much chemistry with Momoa and felt another actress might be better suited as his love interest.
  5. Elon Musk didn’t take kindly to hearing DC wanted rid of Amber Heard. Docs reveal that Musk, Heard’s boyfriend at the time, sent a furious email to the studio, threatening to “burn the house down” at Warner Bros if they dared to let her go. It seems to have worked, since she did get to keep her job — but the studio ended up cutting a bunch of her scenes to keep her presence in “Aquaman 2” to a minimum. How many survived, we won’t know until the movie is released.
