Baileys’ New Piña Colada Flavor Is Like Summertime In A Bottle

Baileys’ New Piña Colada Flavor Is Like Summertime In A Bottle Baileys

Picture this: you’re on vacation, relaxing by the ocean on a beautiful tropical island. The sun is shining, there’s a light breeze, and next to your sun lounger is a table with a delicious cocktail on it. What kind of cocktail is it? Most likely, it’s a piña colada because really, why wouldn’t it be? You may not be able to travel right now, but you can still enjoy the feeling because Baileys has a new piña colada-flavored drink that’s ready to drink right out of the bottle!

  1. Baileys Colada is unexpected but welcome. When you think of Baileys, you probably think of that delicious creamy, chocolatey alcoholic drink that’s perfect for colder months. You wouldn’t necessarily expect the brand to debut a piña colada, but I’m certainly glad they did! It takes that same Baileys creaminess and gives it a summery makeover. So into it!
  2. It’s literally the perfect summertime drink. “A blend of our irresistible Irish Cream with the flavors of creamy coconut & sweet, juicy pineapple to create a smooth & creamy drink that’s ready to serve straight from the fridge,” the product description reads. It’s not necessarily a traditional piña colada but rather the brand’s interpretation that’s close enough to the original to be recognizable with a classic Baileys twist.
  3. You can use it as a mixer or drink on its own. While Baileys Colada is made to drink over ice as-is, you can totally use it as a mixer in whatever other cocktail recipes you can come up with. Frankly, I think it sounds delicious enough on its own that it doesn’t need any other ingredients, but hey, follow your bliss!
  4. Sadly, it’s only around for a limited time. As you can imagine, a piña colada drink is for the warmer months, so you can expect Baileys Colada to be around for the next few months. It has a 17% ABV as well, so that doesn’t hurt. The 750ml bottles will run you about $25, but that’s well worth it in my book.
