Britney Spears’ ‘Brutally Honest’ Memoir Is Finished And Will ‘Shake The World’

Britney Spears has been through a lot in her life. Experiencing celebrity from such a young age, being under a conservatorship for 13 years, and being subject to so much public scrutiny hasn’t been easy. The singer has revealed plenty of shocking details about her upbringing and her family since her conservatorship was lifted. However, that’s apparently nothing compared to what we’ll learn from Britney Spears’ upcoming memoir. According to The Post, she’s finished the book and it will “shake the world” upon its release.

  1. Britney Spears’ memoir will be released in fall 2023. Publishers have reportedly described the tome as “inspiring” and a “groundbreaking instant best-seller.” Given the star’s sustained level of fame and the interest in her life, that’s likely true!
  2. The book covers a lot of tough topics in Spears’ life. According to one source, “Britney’s book is a story of triumph. It will cover her most vulnerable moments, her childhood – being a little girl with big dreams – her break-up with Justin Timberlake, the moment she shaved her head, and her battle with her family over her conservatorship. It is also a story of survival, finding her way out of the crippling conservatorship to finding happiness with her husband Sam Ashgari.”
  3. She’s been working with a ghostwriter on the book. The Post reveals that Britney Spears teamed up with Sam Lansky to write the memoir. Lansky is a well-respected journalist and novelist who’s published with Time, The Atlantic, and New York Magazine. The pairing of Lansky with Spears is said to be one that everyone involved was “thrilled” about.
  4. Spears will hopefully use the book to really set the story straight about her life. For many years, everyone else was telling her story. The autobiography is her way of being able to tell it herself, from her own point of view. “Britney’s book is brutally honest and from the heart. No stone is left unturned. It’s truly a female empowerment story – her taking control of her life,” the source said. A second insider added: “This book is a gift….There are parts of this book that every person—particularly every woman—can relate to and feel less alone. She transforms joy and pain into something transcendent: art.”
  5. Britney Spears reportedly earned $15 million for writing the memoir. The deal with Simon & Schuster, brokered by Creative Artists Agency and her attorney Mathew Rosengart, is said to be one of the largest ever for a celebrity autobiography. It’s up there with Barack and Michelle Obama, if that tells you anything!

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to read this!
