Chris Evans is the superior Chris of Hollywood — yep, I said it. He’s consistently unproblematic, he loves dogs, and he seems like a genuinely nice dude. It’s no wonder that ladies and gents alike are totally head over heels for him — he was named the “Sexiest Man Alive” last year, after all. Sadly, you’ll have to move on to a new celeb crush, however, because Chris Hemsworth and his girlfriend Alba Baptista are reportedly married now.
- Evans and Baptista have been dating since 2021. While they kept their relationship extremely private, People did manage to force the actor’s people to confirm that the pair had been “dating for over a year and it’s serious” as of November 2022. They were said to be extremely in love, with Baptista being adored by those closest to Evans.
- Baptista is an actress too. You may have seen her in “Mrs. Harris goes to Paris” or in “Warrior Nun” on Netflix. But she’s got more than her acting chops to offer — she also speaks five languages, which is incredibly impressive, and does a ton of humanitarian work in her spare time. She and Evans make a good match!
- The wedding took place in Cape Cod on Saturday. Page Six reports that Chris Evans and Alba Baptista tied the knot in a private ceremony at an estate in the Massachusetts town on Saturday, September 9. It was a beautiful but a very low-key affair, and purposely so.
- Plenty of celeb guests were in attendance. In addition to the couple’s family and non-famous friends, the stars were out in droves for the big event. Among the guest list were John Krasinski and Emily Blunt; Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky; Robert Downey Jr. and his wife Susan; and Jeremy Renner.
- Congrats are clearly in order for the happy couple! While they’re unlikely to offer any details about the intimate wedding or talk much about their relationship moving forward, they seem incredibly happy, so mazel tov to them!
