Animal lovers know there’s nothing more heartwarming and special than your relationship with your pet. That’s why it’s so devastating whenever we hear about people who abandon their longtime companions after all the love and comfort they’ve given throughout their lives. Thankfully, one big, fluffy pup got a wonderful new home after being abandoned on the side of the road. We love a story with a happy ending!
- The family saw the dog in the grass on the side of the road. Driving by, the mom noticed the pup in a field and decided to pull over to see to him. After all, they were in the middle of nowhere and there was no owner in sight.
- The pup was extremely friendly and approachable. The family checked the dog over to make sure he wasn’t injured and thankfully, he wasn’t. Other than being dirty and matted, he seemed to be in good health – and in good spirits!
- The family decided to call him Murphy. Since no one came forward to help him, the family decided they loved him too much to simply let him go. So, Murphy became part of the family and was welcomed in with open arms.
- Murphy is loving his new life. His new family has given him a comfy bed, plenty of toys to play with, and all the love and cuddles he could possibly desire. You can see how much he loosens up and begins to feel true joy again as he realizes that he can trust his new humans.
- The family truly loves Murphy and the love he brings into their lives. He’s the perfect family dog and will be with them for the rest of his days. Not only was this gorgeous dog rescued from being on the streets, but he was also given the attention and care he truly deserves. What’s even more amazing is that he’s offering the family so much love in return.
