I try to eat well 95% of the time, but listen, it’s the holidays so all bets are off. I’m all about gingerbread, hot chocolate, candy canes, and… fried chicken? Hear me out. KFC just released a log for your fireplace that smells exactly like their infamous poultry and I’ve never wished I had a fireplace more.
- It’s only available for a limited time. KFC released its 11 Herbs & Spices Firelog for the first time last year and now it’s back for a limited time. They’re $18.99 each and won’t be sold for long, so I highly recommend grabbing at least a dozen to tide you over until next year.
- It sounds (and smells) like perfection. “Once again you can fill your home with the warmth of a fire that spreads the mouth-watering aroma of Colonel Sanders’ secret recipe,” the product description reads. “Throw one on the fire and grab a bucket of the Colonel’s world-famous fried chicken, then sit back and enjoy.”
- It’s pretty good value for money. Each log is made of 100% recycled materials and burns for 2.5 to 3 hours. It’s hard to say whether you’d need more than one KFC log at a time to really get the full effect, but you could always just sit in front of an actual bucket of original recipe and inhale if the scent isn’t as strong as you’d like.
- They’re a Walmart exclusive. Unfortunately, you won’t find the KFC log in your local Walmart store – this is an online-only purchase and you’ll need to have it shipped to your home.
