Kim Kardashian’s American Horror Story Debut Slammed By Fans: ‘She Can’t Act’ FX

When it was announced earlier this year that Kim Kardashian would be joining the cast of “American Horror Story” for its 12th season, plenty of people were unhappy about it (looking at you, Patti Lupone). However, many of the SKIMS mogul’s fans were looking forward to seeing her on screen. On Wednesday, September 20, they finally got the chance — and the response wasn’t brilliant.

  1. Kim Kardashian appeared in the first episode of “AHS: Delicate.” In the show, she plays a bigmouth publicist named Siobhan Corbyn. Her opening lines were pretty legendary, to be fair: “Then tell the Daniels to suck my clit. She’s not missing a press day for a f–king commercial shoot. It’s exhausting being better than everyone.” Well, that’s something!
  2. It didn’t take AHS fans long to head to social media to pan the appearance. “I’m not into Kim at all #AHS,” one person wrote on X, formerly Twitter. Another added: “Kim sucks at acting. Why is she on this? Ruined it for me.” A third was just as critical, writing: “I feel like I gave the new season of #AHS a valiant, open-minded watch but… I can’t.”
  3. Some people simply didn’t see why she was there. Her character seemed to be there for vanity only, just to get Kardashian on the show. “Guys I’m so ducking confused what is the new plot of AHS,” one person questioned. “Why is Kim Kardashian here???”
  4. There were some people who thought she was great. Kardashian fans were quick to jump in and defend their hero, with one person writing, “I don’t care what people say, Kim Kardashian is doing amazing sweetie in AHS.” Another remarked: “I know it’s only been 1 episode, but @KimKardashian did an amazing job with her part. y’all can suck my melons for throwing doubt at her.”
  5. It’s unclear how many episodes Kardashian will appear in. However, creator Ryan Murphy seems keen to include her as much as possible. “Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the ‘AHS’ family,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture.”
