Kylie Jenner Admits She And Jordan Woods Secretly Stayed Friends After Tristan Thompson Scandal

We all know that Tristan Thompson doesn’t know how to see a woman without wanting to bed her, but when he allegedly kissed Jordyn Woods at a party in 2019, all hell broke loose. Suddenly, Kylie Jenner’s best friend was cast out of the Kardashian/Jenner circle and made into a pariah.

While Kylie and Jordyn were recently photographed grabbing sushi together in LA, indicating that they’d finally made up, Kylie revealed in her new feature in Interview magazine that they’d been friends all along.

Jordyn Woods has always insisted she never had an affair with Tristan Thompson.

Since he’d bed any woman that would let him, it was easy to imagine that a drunken kiss had turned into something more intimate, but Jordyn said no.

Appearing on “Red Table Talk,” Jada Pinkett Smith’s now-defunct Facebook Watch series, Jordyn says things literally never went further than that ill-advised kiss.

Of course, Khloe Kardashian attacked her on social media anyway, insisting she was a liar and that she was responsible for breaking up her family. You know, despite this not being the first or last time Tristan cheated on Khloe…

In any case, it was impossible for Kylie and Jordyn to stay friends in those circumstances, but they did anyway.

Kylie and Jordyn kept their friendship under wraps.

Publicly, Kylie had to appear as though she was supporting her sister Khloe, and that meant not being seen with Jordyn. However, Kylie told Interview that they did have some serious conversations behind closed doors.

“Jordyn and I, we always stayed in touch throughout the years, and we would meet up at my house and catch up and just talk through everything. We never fully cut each other off, and one day, naturally, we were like, we want to get sushi and we don’t want to hide anymore,” Kylie explained.

They feel that keeping things low-key for so long ultimately allowed everyone to heal.

While it’s unlikely that Khloe has forgiven Jordyn for her babies’ father’s transgressions, Kylie has certainly moved on and counts Jordyn as one of her closest friends. She ultimately believes that keeping their friendship out of the spotlight served to allow everyone time and space to heal and their friendship to grow.

“There’s a learning lesson in everything, and I think that in a weird way, everything happens how it’s supposed to happen. We were so attached at the hip that we needed space to grow into the people that we were supposed to be,” Kylie said.

“I needed that independence and that confidence because she was like my security blanket for so long.”
