An enraged Chicago man was arrested after he bit off his friend’s nipple and attacked an off-duty police officer during a road rage incident on Sunday, August 8. Kyle Clark, 35, sideswiped another car while driving his Volkswagen Jetta at around 11:40 p.m., CWB Chicago reported. When the other car attempted to get Clark to pull over, that’s when things escalated.

  1. The driver of the swiped car happened to be an off-duty police officer. He and his passenger, both 38-year-old males, are said to have pulled up alongside Clark and told him to pull over so a crash report could be filed. The driver reportedly identified himself as a Chicago police officer and to his credit, Clark did pull over.
  2. Clark then attacked the police officer. After all three men got out of their cars, Clark reportedly punched the officer twice in the face. When his friend tried to intervene on his behalf, Clark attacked him and bit his nipple completely off.
  3. Police arrived at the scene shortly after. At that point, they engaged in a brief struggle with Clark before they were able to subdue him and take him into custody. Meanwhile, the off-duty officer’s friend was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
  4. Clark is now being held at Cook County Jail on $100,000 bond. He’s charged with aggravated assault on a peace officer, aggravated battery causing great bodily harm, aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
  5. This isn’t Clark’s first altercation with law enforcement officers. He reportedly has three prior convictions for aggravated battery of peace officers. He’s due back in court on August 16.
