Megan Fox has admitted that she was completely “in love” with Shia LaBeouf during their “totally romantic” relationship. Appearing on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Fox was asked about the couple’s time together after meeting on the set of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” and she finally confirmed a long-held suspicion fans have been speculating about for years.
- Megan Fox has never spoken about her relationship with Shia LeBeouf before. Playing Plead the Fifth with Cohen, he was unsure if she’d answer. However, Fox did admit that the pair were more than friends. “How would you characterize your relationship [with LaBeouf]?” Cohen asked. Fox responded: “I mean, I would confirm that it was romantic.” Aww!
- The actress has always been open about her adoration for her co-star. While she may never have given details about their relationship, Fox has always openly gushed about how highly she thinks of LaBeouf. “I love him. I have never really been quiet about that. I love him,” she added.
- However, their relationship didn’t go very far. While they were hot and heavy on the set of “Transformers,” Fox and LaBeouf called things a day once filming ended. Asked by Cohen if it was just an on-set romance, Fox confirmed that was the case. “Yeah,” she said, describing it as a “showmance.”
- LaBeouf has discussed his relationship with Fox previously. All the way back in 2011, LaBeouf told Details (via NBC News): “Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them,” he said. “I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen.” Plenty of fans did, that’s for sure!
Megan Fox went on to have several other high-profile relationships after LaBeouf, including Brian Austin Green and her most recent partner, Machine Gun Kelly.
