Plus-Size Hooters Girls In Booty Shorts Spark Online Debate Between Diners

Hooters isn’t necessarily known for their diversity or inclusivity when it comes to body types. Most of the restaurant’s servers are thin, have big boobs or butts, and look good in the skimpy outfit that serves as their “uniform.” However, many believe this should change, and people are starting to think plus-size Hooters girls should totally be a thing.

  1. None of the 420 franchisers include full-figured women. However, after plus-size influencer Chynna Turner and her friends dressed up as Hooters waitresses for Halloween and posted a photo of themselves on Instagram, people are starting to question whether things need to change.
  2. Plenty of people are on board with the idea. Many were intrigued, including one Twitter user who wrote: “Plus-size Hooters girls, very interesting” upon seeing the photo. TikTok influencer Jaron Furches even went so far as to say he’d head right over there if such a restaurant existed. “The world’s first plus-size Hooters just opened up … I’m [on my way] to win customer of the year,” he joked.
  3. Seriously, Hooters is missing out on loads of customers here. A very enthusiastic endorser of the idea wrote: “[I’m] losing my MIND over the plus-size hooters, I’ve never wanted to go to f – -king hooters so bad in my life. In fact, I’ve never wanted to go to hooters in my life. but I do now.” A separate fan added: “I’m happy to SEE BLACK confident plus-size sisters represent. Legs, thighs, arms, buts and all. Body shaming a person WON’T MAKE YOU LOOK GOOD. WHETHER IT Was a joke or real; THEY PULLED IT OFF. YOUR APPROVAL WASN’T AND IS NEVER NEEDED!!” Hooters, you’re losing money!
  4. Of course, not everyone is a fan. While there are plenty of positive comments and supporters of the idea, there are always going to be haters, and this topic is no exception. “Fat women are gross, stop eating you fat pig,” one troll wrote. Another immature commenter added: “They eat the wings for you.” Grow up and get a life, please!
  5. Turner and her friends bought the Hooters uniforms for $60 on Amazon. They then headed over to their local restaurant to take a photo out front. “My girls and I wanted to make a statement with our Halloween look this year,” Turner, 30, told The Post. “Hooters typically discriminates against bigger women, but I figured showing up and showing out in the Hooters uniform would help spread the message that you don’t have to be a size 2 to do you in a sexy and confident way.” Get it, girl!
