Snoop Dogg Recalls Getting ‘The Most Stoned Ever’ With Willie Nelson

When it comes to prolific weed smoking, Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson are legends in their own right. They’ve been toking for decades and have never wavered in their dedication to Mary Jane. Hell, Snoop Dogg even has his own full-time blunt roller! That’s why hearing the story about how the pair got together for a smoking session will seriously make your day.

  1. Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson met up in Amsterdam. The rapper and the country singer happened to be in The Netherlands at the same time, having performed separate concerts a day apart. Incidentally, they just so happened to both be free 4/20, the weed lover‘s holiday. They decided to meet up in Nelson’s hotel room for a smoke, and that’s when it all went down. Or maybe up — depends on your perspective, I guess!
  2. Snoop recalled their session in an interview with Sirius XM. “So we went back to his hotel room and we was playing dominoes. So Willie had a vape, a joint, I had a blunt and he had a pipe,” the “Murder Was The Case” rapper said. “Me and him were playing dominoes one-on-one, he whipping my a** and I was just getting higher and higher and he keeps passing it to me and I was like, ‘This old motherf***er’s out-smoking me.'”
  3. He had to keep smoking so Willie didn’t think he couldn’t handle it. Snoop Dogg is a professional weed smoker, but even he struggled to keep up with Willie Nelson. “I’m trying to stop but I can’t because I don’t want to show no signs of weakness,” he remembered of their session. Eventually, however, he had to tap out and suggested they go for something to eat. So, off they went to KFC.
  4. Nelson is pretty proud of his accomplishment. In an interview with The Daily Beast, Nelson recalled being shocked by his ability to out-smoke Snoop. “That was over in Amsterdam! I called Snoop and I said, ‘Hey buddy, you gotta come over here. This is where it’s at!'” he said. “So he came over and we hit every bar, every smoke place in Amsterdam. We had a helluva time.”
