Woman Whose Stanley Cup Was The Only Thing To Survive Car Fire Is Offered New Car By Company

A woman whose car caught on fire will be getting a new one free of charge after a TikTok video of her showing off her still-intact Stanley Quencher went viral on the platform. Danielle (@danimarrielettering) posted a clip showing her burnt-out car, zooming in on the 40 oz. H.20 FlowState Tumbler sitting in the cup holder looking pretty good, all things considering. Even more shocking? It still had ice in it!

Danielle’s Kia was completely destroyed in the fire.

It’s unclear what caused it, but you can tell from looking at the car that there’s nothing there to salvage. The whole car has been completely gutted from the flames… except for her Stanley.

“Thirsty after you catch on fire? @Stanley 1913 is like no problem i gotchu,” she captioned the video. I have to say, that’s a whole lot more humor than most people would have in this situation!

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the clip immediately went viral.

At the time of writing, it has more than 30 million views, nearly 6 million likes, and more than 43,000 comments from stunned viewers who can’t believe their eyes.

After all, Stanley may insist it makes “tough bottles,” but this is taking things to a whole other level.

“I don’t think Stanley will ever come up with a better ad than this one,” one commenter wrote.

Another said, “Stanley surviving a fire with ice in it is crazy.”

Stanley’s global president, Terence Reilly, wants to get Danielle a new car.

Hearing the pleas from many users for Stanley to step in and help Danielle out, Reilly wants to do just that.

In a stitched TikTok, he said, “We’ve all seen your video. Wow, what an ordeal, and we’re all really glad you’re safe.

“I’ve seen a lot of comments that we should send you some Stanleys. Well, we’re gonna send you some Stanleys, but there’s one more thing and we’ve never done this before and we’ll probably never do it again, but we’d love to replace your vehicle… yeah, all of us at Stanley we’d really like to replace your vehicle.”

Result!

And hey, this benefits Stanley, too — lots of commenters said they’re finally going to take the plunge and buy their on Quenchers.
