Female Teacher Admits Sending Naked Selfies To At Least Five Male Students Via Snapchat

A West Virginia high school teacher has admitted sending nude selfies to at least five of her male students, WCHS reports. Tracy Miller, 28, worked for Logan High School but was fired by the school board after the accusations against her came to light. She was arrested on three counts of distribution or exhibition of obscene material to minors.

  1. She sent the nudes to the teens over a period of several months. She was caught when one of the students in question revealed to school administrators that they had saved the photos Miller sent them to his phone. She was then interviewed by the school research officer, Sgt. Nick Booth.
  2. Miller confessed everything right away. During her interview with Booth, Miller admitted to sending the photos and revealed that she had used Snapchat to transfer them to the students in question. She went even further to say that she had no idea how many pics she’d sent over the months and that at least five students were involved.
  3. She was arrested pretty much immediately. Miller was then arraigned in Logan County Magistrate Court in front of Magistrate Dwight Williamson. She was later released on her own recognizance while the investigation continued. Authorities said they were looking for more photos potentially sent to other students.
  4. She potentially faces time behind bars. However, even if she manages to escape prison, she will never be able to teach again and will likely have to register as a sex offender. It’s unclear exactly how old her victims were, but hopefully they receive any help or support they might require.
