People Are Putting Up Weed Christmas Trees To Celebrate The Holidays

Even during my pothead days, I always put up a normal Christmas tree. You know, artificial branches, some cheap plastic ornaments and stringed lights, that sorta thing. Well, obviously I missed the boat on something amazing because now people are putting up weed Christmas trees to celebrate the holiday season and they look amazing.

  1. Obviously, they don’t have to be made out of real weed. In fact, it’s probably better if they aren’t. Marijuana plants can be super delicate and need special conditions to grow well, so dropping a plant in the middle of your living room and stringing decorations all over it may not be the best idea, even if it does make for a great Insta pic.
  2. You can buy a fake one! Costumeish.com is selling an artificial weed Christmas tree with marijuana leaf-shaped branches that look super real but aren’t. That means you won’t get that classic dank MJ smell, but I suppose there are always candles for that, if you’re desperate.
  3. It will “light up” any room it’s in. Get it? Oh, whatever, just go with it. The tree doesn’t come with any decorations so you’ll need to provide your own, but you can literally decorate this as if it was any normal Christmas tree, so no need to go out and buy anything special. String some colorful lights around it, hang some ornaments and/or candy canes, and voila! You’re ready for Santa.
  4. Admittedly, it’s not cheap. Costumeish.com’s weed Christmas tree is $249, which is pretty pricy, especially considering it’s synthetic. However, it is 6 feet tall and does look very life-like, plus you can reuse it time and time again, so it’s not too bad of an investment. Plus, there’s always the fact that a real MJ plant of this size would cost WAY more.
  5. They’ve already sold out before, so you’ll have to be quick. Until the past couple of days, the weed Christmas tree was out of stock. Now that it’s back, you’ll want to order yours from the Costumeish.com website ASAP since they’re guaranteed to sell out again, especially considering you can’t get them anywhere else.
