Woman Arrested For Slapping Rival In Face With 10-Pound Log Of Ground Beef At Local Walmart

An Ohio woman was arrested and taken into custody after she reportedly struck another woman in the face with a 10-pound tube of ground beef. The unnamed assailant and her victim are said to have previously lived in the same duplex, with the victim having sought a protection order against the suspect that was still in effect. However, when they saw one another in the chip aisle at the store in South Euclid, a suburb of Cleveland, all hell broke loose, Cleveland 19 reports.

  1. It’s unclear what the “beef” is between the two women. Police were unable to determine why the women were at loggerheads but it’s clear they had serious problems in the past leading to the victim seeking protection from the suspect. Given what allegedly transpired at Walmart, it seems like she made a good decision in seeking that restraining order!
  2. When the suspect spotted the victim, she threatened to beat her up. Despite the fact that both women were with their young children, the suspect reportedly threatened to beat up both the victim and her 7-year-old daughter. She’s also said to have ripped off the woman’s face mask and tried to spit in her face, though she missed, which only infuriated her more.
  3. That’s when the ground beef came into play. Police say the suspect reached into the victim’s shopping car next and pulled out a 10-pound log of ground beef, using it to strike the victim across the face. The logs, which retail for around $22, come pre-packaged and as they’re so heavy, they could cause serious physical harm.
  4. The suspect was arrested shortly after. South Euclid Police arrived on the scene shortly after and arrested the suspect, who was later charged with assault and violating a temporary protective order. Her 5-year-old daughter, who was with her during the attack, was handed over to a relative. It seems the victim was okay and didn’t come to any major harm.
