Woman Who Deals Meth Says Selling Drugs Was The Only Job She Could Get Tygart Valley Regional Jail

A Virginia woman who was arrested for dealing meth told police that she got into selling drugs because it’s the only job she could get. Rainee Pase, 27, of Tunnelton, was pulled over by officers from the West Virginia State Police when they saw her driving a silver Saturn SUV with no inspection sticker. Things only went downhill for Pase from there.

  1. Officers were conducting a routine traffic patrol at the time of Pase’s arrest. After she was stopped, troopers noted that the muffler of her vehicle was defective. They then went to speak to Pase and decided to search her vehicle.
  2. Pase had a whole lot of drugs with her. While investigating, they discovered a “large baggy” of methamphetamine in her backpack as well as “several small baggies with the substance and the weight of the product written on the outside” and a set of scales, according to a complaint cited by WBOY.
  3. She never tried to deny that she’d been selling drugs. Instead, Pase told officers that “she does sell methamphetamine in order to make a living because she can not obtain a job.”
  4. In total, Pase had about 20 grams of meth. She was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. She’s being held in Tygart Valley Regional Jail on $10,000 bond.
