As most of us know, guys aren’t always forthcoming when it comes to letting you know how we’re feeling. Some like to play games or don’t want you to know they like you. Fortunately, actions always speak louder than words. Most of the time, what we do will make it clear that we’re attracted to you or have taken a liking to you. If you’re not sure what behaviors to look out for, keep an eye out for a guy who does these things. If so, he definitely likes you.
- He touches you a lot. If a guy is attracted to you, he’ll look for any excuse to make physical contact with you. Admittedly, that can seem just a little creepy. With any look, he’ll be discrete and respectful about it. Whether it’s touching your shoulder or your lower back or something less innocent, if a guy is seriously attracted to you, he’ll have trouble not trying to make physical contact with you. It’s just a matter of how he goes about it.
- He’s always trying to meet your gaze. For the record, this isn’t the most common sign of attraction, but some guys will try to get your attention by trying to make eye contact with you. With others, making direct eye contact is how they let you know that they’re interested. This rarely happens by accident, so if you notice this, it’s a good bet that the guy has some level of attraction.
- He always looks his best. Guys will always try to dress to impress if they’re attracted to a woman and know they’ll be seeing her. If you’re unsure if a guy is digging you, assess how much time he spent working on his appearance before seeing you. If he’s attracted to you, he’ll be putting in a lot more effort.
- He has a staring problem. If he can’t stop staring at you, he’s either a serial killer or super attracted to you. Unless you have broccoli stuck in your teeth, there probably isn’t much middle ground here. Of course, the caveat is whether he’s staring at your face or somewhere else. In his defense, he’ll his best to only look at your face, but being attracted to you means wanting to look at other parts of your body too.
- He keeps talking. When a guy is attracted to you, he’ll do his best to keep the conversation going. He’ll say and do anything he can to keep talking to you. Honestly, he just wants to be around you and doesn’t want things to die out and give you an excuse to leave. Of course, this can lead a guy to say some weird things. That being said, I assure you these weird things come from a good place.
- He notices other guys checking you out. When a guy is attracted to someone, his competitive instincts start to kick in. He becomes protective and possessive, which means he’ll notice if other guys are checking you out. You may not even notice it, but he will because it means he has competition for your attention. He may point out that another guy is checking you out because he’s suddenly worried about where he stands. It may sound a little paranoid, but guys don’t always think clearly when they’re genuinely attracted to someone.
- The smile doesn’t leave his face. This one is obvious but shouldn’t be forgotten. Being around someone you’re attracted to makes you happy. For guys, that’s about as simple as it gets. If you can’t think of another reason for him to be in such a good mood and if he can’t stop smiling around you, just assume that he’s into you.
- He’s always laughing. This can be a two-way street. First, a guy who’s attracted to you will do his best to make you laugh. It’s his way of trying to impress you and show you a good time. Plus, guys feel special if they can make a woman laugh. Meanwhile, if a guy is laughing at your jokes, there should be little doubt he’s attracted to you. Odds are, you aren’t that funny, but a guy who likes you will just enjoy your company, which tricks him into thinking that everything you say is hilarious.
- He’s willing to do you favors. Doing little favors is an obvious way of showing someone that you like them. Most guys aren’t fans of big gestures, but they’ll do little things that give their feelings away. It could be as simple as getting up to get you a drink so you don’t have to. It may not sound like much, but most guys won’t think to do that if they don’t feel something for somebody.
- He has tons of nervous energy. This is the one sign that a guy is attracted to you that he won’t be able to hide. It’s human nature for us to be a little nervous around somebody we like. Of course, nervous energy can come in many different forms. He might talk too much or fidget a little in his seat. Until he gets used to being around you, if he’s attracted to you, there will be some nervous energy that’s tough to hide.
