There are two types of hot girls: the ones who are physically hot and the ones who are hot in the way they live their lives. The latter group takes life by the balls, never wavers in their beliefs, and knows how to command the attention of those around them. True hotness is found in attitude, not appearance. With the right makeup artist, anyone can be hot on the outside, but being hot on the inside involves more than the perfect eyeliner and red lipstick. Want to master it? Here are the ultimate hot girl habits you should be practicing.

  1. You own your sexuality. You’re a sexual being and you know it. You’re proud of your sexual conquests and don’t try to pretend you’re something you’re not.
  2. You command every room you walk into. You know how to make an entrance, how to talk to strangers, and how to make sure all eyes are on you. You firmly believe you’re the hottest woman in every room you enter, and because of that, you are.
  3. You fake it when you need to. Your motto is “fake it until you make it,” and it’s something you practice every time you’re a bit unsure. But you’re also not afraid of occasionally being a bit unsure, because you like a challenge.
  4. You never apologize. Far too many women apologize for things they should never apologize for ― it’s practically an epidemic within our gender. You, however, do not apologize, because you know you have no reason to say you’re sorry.
  5. You compliment yourself regularly. You’re able to look in the mirror and accept your flaws and complement your physical assets. You also make it a habit of complimenting your conviction and strength of character, too. You pretty much high-five yourself every time you get out of bed.
  6. You always put yourself first. You know that outside of your family and a few very close friends, you can only count on yourself. Because that’s the case you always put yourself first and you never, ever feel bad about it.
  7. You’re vocal about the fact that you’re a catch. Very few people can admit to themselves that they are absolutely awesome, but not you. If some subpar dude hits on you at the bar, you’re the first to inform him that you’re a catch and way out of his league.
  8. You approach things ahead on. You don’t need to prepare with a pep talk or ease into any situation. You simply put your eyes on the prize and make your move. You have goals and a plan to reach them and there’s nothing that will stand in your way.
  9. You cry without regret. You’re human, and sometimes humans cry. You may be 100% badass, but being badass also means not being scared to show your softer side, too.
  10. You don’t shy away from conflict. In fact, you welcome it. If someone wants to mess with you, you’re ready to take them on. This doesn’t mean you’re the type to throw punches, but you are definitely the type who’s going to win any battle of words and wit.
  11. You stand up for yourself. Not only do you stand up for yourself, but you stand up for those you care about and love. You are not a woman who takes anything lying down and you’re not afraid to point out when you’ve been wronged.
  12. You don’t linger on “what if?” You realize everything happens for a reason, so you don’t dwell on the past or how things could have been different. You’re the master at looking where things may have gone wrong, shrugging, and not giving a damn.
  13. You’re never the last one to leave. You know when the party is over, when things might be getting weird, and you can sense when it’s just time to pack up and leave. You don’t waste your time waiting to see what comes next, because you have other things to do and other people to see.
