14-Year-Old Girl Arrested For Trying To Hire A Hitman To Kill Ex-Boyfriend Rent a Hitman

A 14-year-old Louisiana girl was arrested and taken into custody after she reportedly tried to hire a hitman to kill her ex-boyfriend. The Baton Rouge Police Department announced that the teen was taken in on Valentine’s day “for soliciting to have her 14-year-old ex-boyfriend killed” via the website Rentahitman.com. Unfortunately for her, the site is a snare to catch potential criminals, not a legit service.

  1. The young girl did indeed try to have her boyfriend killed. While it’s unlikely she understood the true gravity of what she was doing, she did fill out a contact form on RentaHitman.com to try and end her ex-boyfriend’s life. “We conducted an investigation on it, and through the course of our investigation, we learned that information was indeed placed on the website. We made contact with the 14-year-old girl and then arrested her for soliciting to kill the ex-boyfriend,” Sgt. L’Jean McKneely told WAFB-TV.
  2. Bob Innes has stopped a number of murders from going ahead. Innes is the owner and webmaster of RentaHitman.com and while it was launched as a joke, he’s received hundreds of legitimate inquiries from people wanting to end someone else’s life. Any of the requests that seem legitimate are automatically forwarded to local police. “The website has prevented, essentially, 150 murders at this point,” he told ABC7 News.
  3. The teen’s mother is said to have bonded her out of jail. After the teen’s arrest, she was booked into the East Baton Rouge Juvenile Detention Center for Solicitation for Murder. A judge ordered a psychological exam for her, though it’s unclear if she will face further criminal charges and when or if she’ll be back in court. Her mother is said to have posted the $75,000 bond to get the girl home.
