Baby Jar Jar Binks Is Potentially Even Cuter Than Baby Yoda, Right?

When it comes to adorable Star Wars characters, they’re pretty few and far between, which means holding the title has been pretty easy for Baby Yoda. However, now there’s a new cutie on the block who’s here to give the little green guy a run for his money, and it’s Baby Jar Jar Binks. Yep, you heard me right!

  1. Sadly, Baby Jar Jar Binks isn’t a real character… YET, that is (at least I hope). He’s actually the creation of artist Leonardo Viti, who shared the 3D animation with his audience on Instagram. In the video, he laughs, blinks, sticks his tongue out, and is just generally super adorable.
  2. People are loving it! While everyone loves Baby Yoda, there’s room in our hearts for more cute aliens, and Baby Jar Jar Binks is a welcome addition to the family. “That’s some adorable stuff right there,” one user commented. Another added, “Can I like this more than once?” I wish!
  3. It is a little bit weird, to be honest. While I’m totally down with cute baby versions of some of the less precious Star Wars aliens, it’s kinda getting a little Muppet Babies on me (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, just a bit unsettling). That being said, if we can have a Baby Yoda, why shouldn’t we have a Baby Jar Jar Binks? Where’s Baby Chewbacca? That’s what I’d like to see next.
  4. It would be great if Baby Jar Jar Binks showed up on The Mandalorian. It’s not likely to happen given that the artist who created him doesn’t work for the show and they’d have to probably pay him a ton of money to be able to use the idea (I think? I would hope?), but who knows, maybe something like that is already in the works. If not, at least we have this sweet little clip.
