Why does “bossy” have to be insult, and why is it one that’s always aimed at women? Forget that noise. Being bossy doesn’t make you a bitch, and contrary to what you may believe, men don’t run away from bossy women — just ask Beyoncé.
- Bossy women have confidence. No one wants to date someone who lacks confidence. That’s something you don’t have to worry about when you’re dating a bossy chick. Confidence is sexy.
- Bossy women don’t waste time. If a bossy woman wants a relationship, she’ll let you know. If she does and you don’t, she’s gonna move on, ASAP. She knows her time is valuable.
- Bossy women know WTF they want to eat for dinner. Damn, why is it that women have such a hard time figuring out what to eat? I am totally guilty of this. My boyfriend and I will go back and forth for WAY TOO LONG about where to order dinner from. Get a bossy woman and a menu and she’ll point to it and say, “That.”
- Bossy women are independent. It’s not that a bossy woman doesn’t want or need you, it’s just that she’s not gonna die without you. She can do things for herself. She’s not gonna cling.
- Bossy women make great leaders. If you’re ever feeling overwhelmed and can’t make a decision, ask a bossy woman to do it for you. Boom, problem solved.
- Bossy women aren’t doormats. Bossy women don’t take crap from anyone, and won’t let themselves feel inferior. This means they don’t need a man to stand up for them. They can handle themselves, and you don’t need to worry about needing to step in.
- Bossy women stick to their goals. Bossy women don’t have dreams — they have goals. What’s the difference between a dream and a goal? A deadline. Bossy women will always meet their deadline. You don’t have to worry about them.
- Bossy women believe in themselves. They love and appreciate your praise, but they know that they’re capable of whatever it is they’re trying to do, because they genuinely believe in themselves. This is great because it means you don’t have to play therapist or cheerleader all the time.
- Bossy women don’t give up easily. If you’re both staring down a problem together, she’s not gonna back down until she’s tried everything. This is someone you want on your side.
- Simply put, bossy women get stuff done. They know how to stop procrastination dead in its tracks. Hell yes.
