Cap’n Crunch Berrytastic Pancake Mix Is Like Two Breakfasts In One

If you like sitting down to a bowl of cereal or some pancakes for breakfast in the morning, you might be interested to know that Aunt Jemima has teamed up with Cap’n Crunch to release a Berrytastic Pancake Mix, combining two of your morning favs in one. Sign me up!

  1. All you have to do is add water. While some pancake mixes require you to add your own eggs, milk, and/or oil, you’re in luck with this one. Cap’n Crunch’s pancake mix simply requires you to mix in some water and you’re ready to go, making it the most delicious AND the simplest breakfast ever.
  2. This is a bit of a phantom product at the moment. While it’s unclear how Instagrammer @junkbanter got a hold of a photo of the mix already since it’s nowhere in stores and no official press release has come out, Delish noted that there has indeed been a trademark filed for Cap’n Crunch Berrytastic Pancake Mix by The Quaker Oats Company, so it’s definitely happening.
  3. It’s buttermilk with “flavored bits.” I assume the flavored bits will basically be like mini pieces of Cap’n Crunch Crunchberries or at least something that resembles those flavors, inside your standard Aunt Jemima pancake mix, which is delicious all on its own. It’ll kinda be like Funfetti but even better, right?
  4. Again, no word as to when this will be out, so we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled. This seems like it would be a great Easter release, so it’s possible that we could have Cap’n Crunch pancakes on our breakfast tables in the next few months, but that’s just a (very hopeful) guess. In reality, we don’t actually know what The Quaker Oats Company is planning, so we’ll have to try and stay patient even though it’s really hard.
