Chocolate-Dipped Bacon Shot Glasses Are The Only Thing You Should Be Drinking From

Now that we’re all spending pretty much 24 hours a day indoors, there’s nothing better to do on yet another evening in front of the TV than drink. You could reach for a standard shot glass in your kitchen cupboards OR you could make these chocolate-dipped bacon shot glasses and never drink out of anything else again.

  1. The idea comes courtesy of Popsugar. Their YouTube channel featured an easy-to-follow tutorial for bacon shot glasses all the way back in 2016 that has never been more appropriate than right now. Generally speaking, I wouldn’t have the time and patience for something like this. Now I couldn’t possibly have more time (though admittedly, the patience is still lacking).
  2. You only need a few basic supplies. Thankfully, making bacon shot glasses only requires a few items: bacon, chocolate, toothpicks, and a shot glass. If you have those handy, you’re good to go. There’s no need to hunt down any exotic ingredients or anything, which is a relief.
  3. You don’t have to be a great chef to make them either. All you do is make your mold by wrapping bacon around the shot glass, bake it, paint the insides with melted chocolate and wait for it to set, and voila. Pour your favorite alcohol in and you’re good to go.
  4. Bacon shot glasses make you feel like you’re having a party! You may not be able to hang out with your friends or throw a massive rager with them, but you can make some bacon shot glasses, get totally wasted, and have a grand ol’ time on your lonesome or with your self-isolation partners, or even with your besties on Zoom. Then when all of this is over, you can make these for your actual gatherings. You’ll be a pro by then.
  5. What are you waiting for? You don’t have to wait for the weekend to hit up bacon shot glasses. Get started now and you’ll have that Friday feeling in no time.
