There was a time when Crocs were seen as frumpy, unfashionable, and totally undesirable, but my how that has changed. Pretty much everyone loves the comfy shoes, which were originally created for gardeners and those who work on their feet all day. Hell, celebrities like Justin Bieber and big fashion houses including Balenciaga have teamed up with the brand for their own collabs. However, there’s always been on thing missing from the Crocs lineup: cowboy boots. Thankfully, that’s all about to change as they’re being released this month.
- First things first: They’ll be available on October 23. If you heard that Crocs cowboy boots are officially a thing now and you want to know when you can get your hands on them, the date is less than two short weeks away. The brand will be selling the boots on its website and in select stores from October 23 for $120.
- Wait, is this really a thing? You betcha. Crocs describes the new footwear as having “a high shine croc-embossed texture and bold western-inspired stitching.” It adds that the boots are “embellished with unique metallic Jibbitz charms and a first-of-its-kind spin-able spur charm attached to the backstrap of the shoe.” Sold!
- As you can probably imagine, these bad boys will sell out quickly. Everyone is going to want to get their hands on a pair of Crocs cowboy boots, even if just to resell for triple the price online. That means you’ll have to be quick (and cunning) if you want to grab a pair.
â¨Crocs fans have been begging for cowboys boots for eons. The concept has been all over social media for ages now, and the brand is finally giving us what we want. “For years, the buzz around a Crocs-inspired cowboy boot has been building, creating a genuine fan-fueled movement trending across social media,” the brand said in a statement. “Recognizing this passion, Crocs is making fan dreams come true, turning the Crocs Classic Cowboy Boot into a reality.” I, for one, can’t wait!
