Drunk UNO Exists, So Prepare To Down A Whole Lot Of Shots

Board games are a totally underrated pastime. From Monopoly to Clue and even Scrabble, there’s nothing more fun (or potentially more infuriating) than playing with friends and family… except maybe when alcohol is involved. Drunk UNO is a thing now thanks to Etsy seller Bowtastic Designs Shop and it’s about to take game night to a whole new level.

  1. Everyone takes a shot before you even get started. That’s definitely getting off on the right foot! You have to pregame a bit, right? That being said, there’s plenty of opportunity for drinking once you start the actual game, so you should probably pace yourself…
  2. There are no losers in this game. While regular UNO might leave you fuming when someone skips you or makes you draw four, each of those cards is simply another opportunity to drink more. When you get a draw four card, you have to take four shots. Likewise, when someone skips you, you still get to take a shot. In other words, everyone wins here.
  3. Everything you need is provided for you. Thanks to Bowtastic Designs Shop, the Drunk UNO set comes not only with UNO cards in case you don’t have them, but also a rule card and either four or six shot glasses depending on your preference. Each of the shot glasses even have the UNO logo in different colors, which is a nice added touch.
  4. This is the perfect gift for yourself or others. The Drunk UNO set runs between $24 and $34 depending on how many shot glasses you choose, which is totally reasonable to buy for yourself for your next party or for a friend or colleague who might enjoy getting a little tipsy (or, you know, totally hammered) by playing this game.
  5. Sadly, it’s sold out at the moment. The set is so popular that it’s out of stock at the moment, but Bowtastic Designs is likely working on more and should be for sale again soon. In the meantime, keep an eye on their Etsy shop and when it comes back, grab it since it’ll likely go just as quickly next time!
