Frozen Poo That Fell From The Sky Out Of Nowhere Could Easily Have Killed Someone, Residents Say

A frozen block of poo that fell out of the sky and onto a residential street in the British town of Waterlooville in Hampshire “could have killed someone,” locals say. Shocked neighbors had no idea where it came from but thought it may have been the product of a road crash given how forcefully it landed.

  1. There is an explanation. While certainly an incredibly rare occurrence, it’s not entirely inexplicable. The frozen poo that came crashing down was said to have come from the leak in the water system of an aircraft.
  2. It can happen more often than you think. According to the Civil Aviation Authority, these leakages and subsequent frozen poo dropping can happen up to 10 times every year when a certain meteorological phenomenon is present.
  3. Thank goodness no one was hurt by it. Local residents Lisa Boyd and Louise Browne, who live nearby where the putrid ice came down, felt grateful that no one had been hurt by it. “I thought someone had crashed their scooter outside, there was a big whirring noise and huge thud so I looked out the window and there was just this lump of ice on the floor,” Lisa told the Portsmouth News as per The Mirror. “We were just thankful no one was walking past and nobody got hit by it because it could’ve killed someone or it could’ve landed on next door’s car and crushed their bonnet.”
  4. They managed to clear the poo up once the ice had melted. Lisa was on hand with a doggy bag to clean up the poo that was left behind. “This morning, where the ice had melted, there were feces on the path. I bagged it up because it was slap bang in the middle of the footpath,” she explained. At least all’s well that ends well.
