Also known as Battered Woman Syndrome, this is a disorder that occurs in victims of domestic abuse. This is basically Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that’s centered around a bad relationship. People who have Battered Spouse Syndrome may be hypervigilant, or might be in total denial of the situation they’re in. In some cases, sufferers from this syndrome may turn violent against their abusers, and even kill them.
