Now more than ever, it’s vitally important that we’re washing our hands not only when we get back from going to the grocery store or pharmacy or walking the dog, but also when we touch anything that has come from outside like food or Amazon packages. Strangely enough, many people still aren’t washing their hands right, which is why Gordon Ramsay has created the best tutorial ever.
- Wait, Gordon Ramsay is a chef, isn’t he? Well, yes, and his food is ridiculously delicious. However, as a chef, he also knows the importance of good hygiene and is well-acquainted with keeping his hands clean. Now more than ever, he recognizes the need to impart that knowledge to all of us.
- He’s really good at tutorials, guys. Ramsay’s YouTube channel is chock full of cooking tutorials and he seems to do a really good job explaining how to do things properly step by step. We may not be cooking up a chicken parmesan here but his teaching capabilities still stand. His hand-washing tutorial is up to the same high standards.
- What a great way to raise awareness. Gordon Ramsay uploaded the tutorial to his YouTube channel in support of the #nhshandwashchallenge hashtag, which brings awareness to the importance of washing your hands in stopping the spread of illness. However, you don’t have to live in England (where the NHS, or National Health Service, exist) to be able to appreciate the video.
- Seriously, people, wash your hands. You need to stand at your sink and wash your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds using soap and water and ensuring to scrub every part of your hands, from your fingernails to your palms, the back of your hands, and thumbs. It takes so little of your time and can make such a major impact, so just do it.
