I don’t care if it’s only August—Halloween is right around the corner and I plan on being ready for it. If you’re also an enthusiast when it comes to the October holiday, you’ll want to start preparing now for the most bomb Samhain celebrations ever. Why not start with these Halloween wine glasses?
- The set comes with three cups, each with a unique design. I know it’s very suburban soccer mom of me, but I love cutesy sayings on housewares. Sue me! This set of three glasses contains one that says “Drink up witches,” another that says “Let’s get sheet faced,” and one more that says “If you’ve got it, haunt it.” I shouldn’t have to explain why that’s amazing.
- They’re stemless, which is always a plus. There’s a time and a place for long-stemmed wine glasses. They’re super classy and fancy and all that and I don’t mind them, but give mama a stemless wine glass anyday. They fit better in the cabinets and I feel like they’re sturdier for some reason.
- It helps you extend the celebrations a bit longer. Unless you have kids or you are one, Halloween isn’t necessary for you, per se. But it should be! Buy a bucket full of candy and wait for the trick-or-treaters to show up while you down some Cabernet in one of these glasses. You even have enough to invite your girls around and let them use one too!
- Because they’re not plastic, they do feel a little more adult. I have nothing against plastic (reusable) cups really, but I just feel a little more grown-up and sophisticated using glass. I also feel a little better about the environment impact as well, which is never a bad thing. In any case, if you drink wine, you should have wine glasses, and if you love Halloween, why not get some themed ones?
