Love doesn’t make you completely blind. When you like a loser, you know it. You just can’t help it. That’s why it’s so hard to deal with your crush when he’s nothing but trouble. As you probably already know, here’s what it’s like to like a complete loser:
- Little things mean a lot. A text back shouldn’t mean much, but when you like a loser, it’s a huge deal. After all, most of the time he’ll just ignore your messages, so getting a response from him is a dream come true.
- You tell yourself that every guy is like him. Sure, the guy you like is a tool, but so is every other guy out there. At least, that’s what you tell yourself, so that you don’t have to go through the trouble of getting over your crush.
- You accept less than you deserve. You should be with someone that actually makes time for you and treats you like an equal. When you like a loser, you’re dropping your standards to a dangerously low level.
- You lie to your friends. You tell your friends that you’re over him, just because you don’t want to hear them lecture you again. You don’t need them to remind you of how horrible he is, because you already know.
- You have mood swings. You alternate between loving him and hating his guts. When he won’t return your calls, you’ll swear that you’ll never talk to him again, but when that phone rings, you’ll go back to wanting to have his babies.
- You doubt yourself. Even though you know he’s a loser, you’ll still wonder if there’s a logical reason behind his actions. You’ll fool yourself into believing that he’s neglecting you, because of something you did, even though being a hookup boy is clearly in his genes.
- You can’t resist his looks. Sure, his personality sucks, but you could stare at him all day long. His face is just as sexy as his body, which is why you let most of his mistakes slide.
- You’re upset all the time. The man you like should make you blush, but when you like a loser, he’ll just end up making you cry. He’ll ruin your life instead of enhance it.
- You keep getting reeled back in. Whenever you think you’re over him, he’ll post a sexy picture on Instagram and you won’t be able to resist messaging him. He has the worst timing, which is why you’ve liked him for so long.
- You know you shouldn’t want him, but you can’t help it. There’s no rhyme or reason for your feelings. You can’t pinpoint why you like him, but you can’t stop liking him, either.
