People Are Losing It Over This Penis Nail Art And It Actually Has A Touching Backstory

Nail art has been around for decades, but the creativity and skill of the industry have continued to get better and better in recent years. There’s nothing that the most talented among the artists can’t do, and this penis nail art that’s gone crazy online is just the latest example of that fact. However, it also has a heartwarming origin that you might not expect.

  1. The art is being sported by a social worker whose clients include those who are homeless and HIV-positive. Heather Hampton’s Instagram account is full of various and sundry penis-themed manicures that are so creative and fun. Some have flowers coming out of the tips, one is decorated to look like a hot dog… the joyous list goes on and on.
  2. The nail artist behind the design is Donne Geer. She co-runs the Hey, Nice Nails! account on Instagram and told Allure that she created the art for Hampton to serve as a “fun distraction” from the heavier side of the job. “They’re able to joke around with Heather about it and make a hard situation feel a little lighter,” Geer said.
  3. Hampton has been getting manicures like this for a very long time. She started working with Geer on the sex-positive nail art back in 2018 but she used to get things like condoms and vibrators even before then. She even makes sure to get all skin tones on her nails so that everyone is represented.
  4. If you want to see more, you can follow Hampton and Geer on Instagram. Both ladies have amazing accounts and might serve as inspiration for your own manicure next time! They do some great work and send out some amazing messages to be sure.
