Lockdown has been hard on everyone, but for people with a high libido, it’s been especially tough. After all, men and women have needs and not being able to get them met is frustrating as hell. That’s one of the reasons Bob and Alyssa, a couple from Philadelphia, have organized an Avengers-themed orgy for when this whole thing is over.
- They’re calling it the “Post Pandemic Pan-Philadelphia Orgy.” They hung flyers for the event around their South Philly neighborhood which informed interested participants not only that they would be screened prior to joining but that if they were successful, they had some tasty refreshments to look forward to as well (and not just in human form).
- It started as a joke but now it’s really happening. Neither Bob nor Alyssa has ever actually attended an event like this, but considering how much interest they’ve had for their Avengers-themed gathering, they feel like they have no choice but to follow through with it. “This would be new territory for us, but it’s something that we’ve been open to,” Alyssa, who’s 29 and bisexual, told the New York Post. As for 25-year-old Bob, he’s had “small group experiences” but nothing quite like this.
- Bob and Alyssa only started dating in December. They met at a bar and decided to quarantine together. Thankfully, that’s worked out and their relationship has gone from strength to strength. However, they’re aware that others may not be so lucky as to have intimacy on tap. “Humanity is currently in the middle of the largest dry spell in all of history, that’s what inspired the flyers,” Bob explained. “It may seem strange to advertise an orgy in such a public way, but yes, we wanted to bring a smile to our neighbors’ faces.”
- They’ve had about 80 responses so far. Bob and Alyssa had no idea that a simple joke would have spread far and wide and been so popular. “The demand is overwhelming,” Bob said. “A lot of messages are just, ‘Is this real?’ I think we turned down some people at the beginning because we didn’t realize we were for real.”
- So, what’s up with the Avengers theme? It may seem a bit random but there’s a method to the madness. “We just like spandex, bodysuits and tights,” Alyssa explained. “It seemed like a sexy, easy theme, and since this is new for us, it felt good to have some direction.” Plus, superheroes automatically wear masks, so that’s an added plus!
- They’re ready to rent a venue if the gathering gets too large. They originally planned to host at their apartment but that may prove impossible if too many people are interested. “No matter how big this gets, we’ll put something together,” Bob promised.
