I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Twix is delicious and totally underrated. While they’ve released some pretty delicious variations over the years, from peanut butter to white chocolate to the more recent cookies and cream version, I’ve always been a fan of the original… until I heard that they’re coming out with Salted Caramel Twix. Now I feel like I might have a new favorite!

  1. Who doesn’t love that savory/sweet combo? Salted caramel seems to be one of the most popular flavor combinations in snacking at the moment, with lots of brands creating their products in this variation at some point. Salted Caramel Twix just seemed like a natural next step, and in fact, I’m kinda surprised it took so long to happen.
  2. It’s limited edition, so you’ll have to grab these things quickly. Salted Caramel Twix might sound like a dream flavor, but like all dreams, it has to end (and this one way too soon). While it’s unclear how long they’ll be on the market, it’s always better to be safe rather than sorry with products you love and stock up, right?
  3. There is one small catch… It does seem at the moment like Salted Caramel Twix will only be available in Europe, so if you don’t live there, you’ll have to make an excuse to take a little vacation so you can pick some up. The product will be available in full-sized bars and minis, so if you are headed over to Europe, you can choose between the two (or buy both sizes).
  4. They should be out sometime in the next couple of months. Mars Wrigley International Travel Retail (MITR) did announce that you can expect to see Salted Caramel Twix on shelves “in the first half of 2020,” so you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled for when that actually happens. Then buy some and bring them to me because they sound delicious.
