11 Subtle Ways The Universe Warns You When You’re In Trouble

Are you on the right path in life, or are you traveling in the wrong direction? Whether or not you believe in a higher power, you’ve probably experienced the feeling that the universe has sent you signs, like a positive feeling that your circumstances are about to change for the better. Well, if you’re on the wrong path, you’ll start getting some warnings. How will you know? Here are 11 subtle ways in which the universe is trying to get your attention so you change things up.

1. You’re Having Weird Dreams.

Are you having regular dreams that are warning you about something in your life? Maybe you’re having dreams that your BF, who you’ve been suspecting of cheating, is with someone else on the side. While you might brush off these dreams as nonsensical, they’re trying to tell you something, so they’re worth thinking about! Even if they’re not exactly about the situation per se, they’re trying to tell you something about your thoughts or feelings.

2. Your Anxiety Is Ramping Up.

If you don’t usually experience anxiety or you don’t suffer from an anxiety disorder, it’s a warning sign if you’re feeling more anxious than usual. Your inner self is trying to tell you something, and you should be paying attention to what you’re feeling and what situations trigger your anxiety.

3. You’re Seeing Angel Numbers Around You.

Angel numbers are a set of repeating numbers, like “111” or “222”, that represent different things. Some people believe that they’re a sign of divine guidance. If this interests you, it’s worth learning more about angel numbers, such as that “111” means new beginnings. Seeing “666” somewhere when you’re going through a tough time could be a warning sign that you’re on the wrong path and it’s time for a bit of reflection.

4. You’re Becoming Clumsy.

If you’re feeling a bit “off” in life RN, you could find that you’re always knocking into things or tripping over yourself. What the heck? You might be feeling unbalanced in life or you’re distracted because of stress and it’s making you less aware of your surroundings. It’s worth watching your step so you don’t end up seriously injured!

5. Your Problems Are Stacking Up.

You might feel like you’re attracting tons of problems lately, such as in your job, relationship, and friendships. If you can see this pattern, it’s not that the world’s out to get to you, but rather that something’s not aligned. Maybe it’s time to check your behavior and look at your choices, as this could alert you to being on the wrong path. For example, if you’re rude to your friends, partner, and co-workers, this will bring truckloads of negativity your way.

6. You Made A Small Mistake.

Sometimes, the universe sends you subtle warning signs that you’re doing something wrong, such as if you slip up. It might seem like NBD, but take note! Maybe you scrape your car in a parking lot or you get a stern warning from your boss. These are little signs that you’re heading down a dangerous path and need to check your behavior before something bigger, and more traumatic, happens.

7. You Can’t Sleep At Night.

If you’re struggling to get quality sleep at night, it’s worth taking a closer look at what could be going on. Maybe stress is keeping you up and you need to find healthy ways to deal with it. Similarly, maybe you’re feeling guilty about something you did and this is preventing you from relaxing. A lack of sleep can be a warning sign in these ways, and it’s a sign you have to take stock of what’s going on.

8. You’re Always Being Told “No.”

You’ve been chasing a goal or trying to find The One, and you keep finding obstacles in your path. It feels like you can’t seem to reach your destination, and it’s frustrating. This could be a sign from the universe that you’re chasing the wrong thing or you’re not meant to be on this path RN. If you have to struggle so much and you keep getting doors slammed in your face, it’s worth stopping and taking stock of what you really want.

9. You’re Feeling Negative.

Your feelings are your biggest alarm system in life, and they give you important information about what you’re chasing and if it’s worth your energy. If you’ve embarked on a new adventure, such as a new relationship, and your feelings are chronically negative, even though the situation is pretty cool, this is a red flag it’s not right for you. The universe is trying to tell you that you deserve something better, so get out!

10. You’re Getting Sick More Often.

Are you suffering from more colds and infections than usual? This could be a sign that your immune system is down, such as because you’re so pumped with stress, so you need to make some healthy changes in your life to improve your health and eliminate stress. You might have to change some things in your life so they become more positive.

11. You Keep Hearing The Same Advice.

There are messages everywhere, but it’s up to you to give them meaning. Sometimes, it’s weird how you’ll receive the same message from more than one person, or you’ll be given advice by a friend and then see the same thing online when scrolling through social media. It might be coincidental, but if the words hold meaning for you, you should listen to them!
