Christmas is just around the corner, and while you probably already have your tree up, if you’re a procrastinator like me, you might not. If you’re still trying to decide on this year’s decor, might I suggest that you try this Cookie Monster Christmas tree? One family created this beautiful, unique look for the holidays this year and it’s so impressive!
- This is so crafty! Aneesah Smart posted the photos of the family’s Christmas tree on their Facebook page and people were loving it immediately. Commenters came onto her post to remark on how beautiful it looked and what an awesome and fun idea it is. It’s so cool!
- The level of detail here is impressive. They started by painting the tree blue, which goes a long way in creating the Cookie Monster vibe. They then covered the tree with gold/brown ornaments to make it look like chocolate chip cookies. The googly eyes on the top really bring the character to life, and the whole tree is inside a yellow bucket painted with the word “cookies.” I love it!
- Cookie Monster even has a bowl for his cookie mix! In addition to holding the mixing bowl and spoon, Cookie Monster is also shoving cookies into his mouth on the tree, which is just perfect. It just gets so much better!
- They did Oscar the Grouch last year! There’s clearly a theme here for the kids! Aneesah made an Oscar the Grouch Christmas tree last year, and that was just as impressive. I’d definitely love to have Christmas at their house! The kids, Curtis and Caiden, will absolutely love it!
