Urban Outfitters Is Selling A Heatable Sloth Plushie & We Need It Now

Cooler weather is finally on its way and there’s so much to look forward to: pumpkin spice everything, loads of Halloween candy, Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts, getting to wear hoodies… oh yeah, and freezing our butts off when the temperature inevitably plummets. If you’re looking ahead to winter or you’re someone who feels the cold the minute the temperature drops below 75, I have a gift for you. It’s this heatable sloth plushie that Urban Outfitters is selling and that we need ASAP.

  1. It’s the most adorable heating pad you’ll ever see. While most heating pads are utilitarian—which is totally fine – they’re there to be functional, after all—I think it’s nice when an item serves two purposes. The sloth plushie will warm you up AND be adorable at the same time. What more can you ask for?
  2. It’s good for cramps too. If getting your period leaves you curled in a ball in bed for days on end, you probably know the value of a good heating pad/water bottle all too well. Using the heatable sloth plushie will help soothe your cramps while also cheering you up because it’s just so damn adorable. We’re into it.
  3. It’s super simple to use. There’s basically a heatable little pouch inside the sloth that you can pop in the microwave for a minute or so (or however long it takes to get warm but not boiling hot) before sliding it back inside the plushie and cuddling up. It doesn’t get easier than that.
  4. If sloths aren’t your thing, UO has other options. If you don’t like sloths (what’s wrong with you?), there’s also a heatable corgi plushie and a heatable dumpling plushie. All of these are great options (and could be great gifts for friends or family for upcoming birthdays/Christmas). We all want to stay warm and cozy, right? If this sounds like your thing, you can order your heatable plushies on the Urban Outfitters website HERE.
