Adorable Puppy Named Pierogi Crashes Live Weather Report And People Can’t Get Enough Fox 5 DC

Puppies are full of mischief and if you don’t watch them, you never know what kind of trouble they’ll get up to. Take Pierogi, for instance. This little doggo came running down the street at full tilt towards Fox 5 DC weatherman Bob Barnard, who was in the middle of a live report at the time. Luckily for Pierogi, he was so cute that he immediately became the star of the broadcast!

  1. Barnard was walking a residential street discussing the weather. In particular, the cold temperatures meant that the roads were icy and therefore extra slippery, which he was warning commuters about. Then, out of nowhere, Pierogi came running down the street towards him, and Barnard couldn’t help but scoop him up to ensure he was safe.
  2. Everyone was tickled by Pierogi’s appearance. Not only did the news anchors back at the studio get a good laugh out of the pup’s appearance, but Barnard himself seemed amused, laughing as his face was licked and saying, “Life is good.” After all, what more do you need than a wiggly little pup giving you loads of kisses? Nothing!
  3. Pierogi’s owner came to get her not long after. She came running down the street, probably worried that the little one had gotten run over or gotten into some kind of danger. Luckily, Barnard had kept her safe, and the owner explained that Pierogi had managed to figure out how to climb over a gate to get out of the house.
  4. More pets on news broadcasts, please! It would certainly be a way to soften the blow of the barrage of bad news that seems to constantly be coming at us. After all, who doesn’t love furry, adorable animals and their funny ways? I don’t know about you, but I’d totally support having animals in every broadcast moving forward!
