Am I Hot Or Not? Signs You’re A Ridiculously Attractive Woman

Some people know exactly how gorgeous they are, but there are a lot of equally attractive people who have no idea how others perceive them. After all, we’re our own worst critics and likely miss out on all the incredible qualities we have that other people notice and admire. If you’re looking for the definitive answer to the age-old question am I hot or not?, here are some signs that you’re ridiculously attractive.

  1. People avoid making eye contact with you. Avoiding eye contact is a sign of being intimidated. You are so gorgeous that people don’t dare look at you for fear that their attraction will be blatantly obvious if you catch their gaze. Our eyes betray our emotions, and when people are overwhelmed by your beauty, they feel self-conscious and vulnerable. The only way to prevent you from finding out that they find you attractive is to avoid looking at you altogether.
  2. Or, they’re inexplicably drawn to you. Another major indicator that you’re hot is that people just tend to gravitate towards you. Maybe strangers approach you often for directions in the street or random people at parties or work events try to start conversations with you. You obviously come off as friendly, open, and attractive, which explains why this happens.
  3. Guys don’t approach you very often. Attractiveness is intimidating to men, even the ones who are usually outgoing and confident. They don’t want to go up to a woman and try to charm her if they think she’s out of their league. You are so attractive that guys are afraid to approach you because they’re almost certain you’ll reject them. Your beauty makes them insecure.
  4. You get a lot of compliments. People are always complimenting you on your clothes, your hair, your smile, and anything else that they notice about you.  And they notice a lot about you. In fact, wherever you go, people look at you. Receiving attention and unsolicited compliments from strangers probably feels normal to you because you’re so used to it, but if you were to live in someone else’s shoes for a day, you’d realize just how unusual it is.
  5. Men seem to want to protect you all the time. It seems weird to say that men acting like superheroes around you means that they find you attractive, but that’s definitely the case. This has nothing to do with their perception of your ability or inability to take care of yourself and everything to do with some weird, innate need they have to protect something they see as valuable, precious, and yes, hot.
  6. Your friends take your beauty for granted. Your friends have known you long enough that your beauty is as factual a thing in their minds as your address or last name. They talk about how hot you are in a casual way because for them, it’s just a part of who you are. They joke about how good you look in photos or how amazing your body is. Like the attention you get from strangers, you’re probably so used to it that you don’t notice.
  7. You embrace your flaws. No matter how hot you are, no one is perfect and you likely have qualities that you’re less than thrilled with. However, you don’t get down on yourself about it. Instead, you change the things you can and not only accept but embrace the things that you can’t do anything about. You appreciate that it’s your imperfections that make you unique and even beautiful, and that’s incredibly attractive to other people.
  8. You’re always in at least one relationship. You may enjoy being single, but you always have at least one romantic interest in your life. Whether it’s an actual boyfriend/girlfriend or just someone you’re texting, you are never without an admirer. You might worry that you’re bad at being alone, but in reality, you’re just so irresistible that there are people lining up to date you. You have so many options that you’re bound to be in a relationship at any given time.
  9. You’re genuinely hard to get. You’re not playing games, you’re just not available. If you’re single, it’s because you’ve decided to be alone for a while. If you’re dating someone, you’ve chosen them because they are truly exceptional. You drive men nuts because they never get a chance to even convince you they should be an option. You’re in high demand and you don’t have time to give everyone a chance with you.
  10. You don’t care what anyone else thinks. Everyone insists that they don’t care about other people’s opinions or how other people perceive them, but most people are lying. Many of us change or dull parts of ourselves so as to be more accepted in society at large. There’s something incredibly hot about a woman who genuinely doesn’t care if other people don’t “get” or appreciate her. You’re unapologetically yourself, and that’s incredible.
  11. You’re extremely independent. There’s nothing more attractive than a woman who knows how to look after herself and prides herself on her ability to give herself all the things she wants and needs in life. This is especially hot to guys because it makes them realize that you don’t actually need them. That means that if you give them the time of day, it’s because you genuinely want to and they’re worth it. Nothing less will do.
  12. Most styles of clothing look good on you. Shopping is easy. You don’t have to spend hours trying things on to find something that works because no matter what you put on, it suits you. Whether you’re experimenting with an edgy new style or leaving the house in rumpled loungewear, you always manage to look fantastic. You get compliments on your clothes even when you’re dressed in something objectively dull. No matter what you put on, you pull it off.
  13. You know how to communicate. You’re not a drama queen and you’re not immature. You don’t play passive-aggressive games or give the silent treatment. Instead, you know exactly how to communicate your thoughts and feelings and you’re not afraid to do so. You’re not rude, by any means, but you are very direct and clear about what’s on your mind. Not everyone has that ability or is willing to do so. Be proud.
  14. People laugh at all your jokes. This may be hard to hear, but you probably aren’t as funny as you think you are. If people are always laughing at your jokes, it may be an indication that you’re really attractive, not really funny. Research suggests that when someone finds a person attractive, they think that person has a great sense of humor, not the other way around. The more attractive you are, the more people will laugh at your jokes.
  15. Other women are always looking at you. While most men are too shy and intimidated to look at you directly, women stare openly. This is likely due to the mate selection theory, which suggests that, throughout our evolution, women have developed methods to assess the threat level that other women pose to their mating success. This is depressing evidence of the innate misogyny in our society, but the good news for you is that the more women stare at you, the more assured you can be of your attractiveness.
  16. You’re confident. Beauty is not confined to physical attributes. Independence, confidence, and charm are probably more attractive than what a person looks like. Confidence signals that you know what you want and what you’re worth. It also suggests that you take risks and have a high rate of success. All of these things are highly attractive traits in a partner. If you’re self-confident, you’re irresistible.
  17. You’re not an attention seeker. It’s nice to receive praise and affection, but you don’t seek it out. You’re not someone who relies on outside reassurance to feel good about yourself and your life. Instead, you’re fine staying in your lane and living your life without constant applause and recognition. That’s hot.
  18. You’re passionate about life. Look, sometimes the world seriously sucks and it’s hard to stay optimistic. That’s why it’s so attractive when someone can always find the bright side and find a way to keep their glass half full rather than half empty. That’s not to say that it doesn’t get you down from time to time when things are going badly, but your ability to pick yourself back up, refocus your energy, and have a true zest for life is an amazing trait.
