A Florida woman was arrested after she reportedly attacked to people at a pool for doing “inappropriate stretches.” Amanda Ferragamo, 41, lashed out at the man and woman in Sumter County in the middle of the night after she noticed the victims enjoying their exercise a little too much, Fox 35 reports.

1. Police were called to the scene at 2:32 a.m.

When deputies arrived, the victims claimed that Ferragamo smacked and shoved them both for no reason. “The female victim then stated that the defendant accused them both of doing inappropriate activities and began to shove her and smacked her across her face,” the arrest affidavit revealed.

2. Amanda Ferragamo hit the female victim hard enough to leave a mark.

The affidavit revealed that the woman Ferragamo attacked had a visible red mark on her face when police arrived, which backed up the story she told. The male victim added, “She f—ing attacked us, she’s p—ed.”

4. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Ferragamo seems to know the male victim.

It’s unclear how they’re connected and the SCSO didn’t make the nature of their relationship public, but given her extreme response to the “stretching” that was going on poolside, it feels safe to assume Ferrgamo and the man were romantically involved. This connection made Ferragamo’s attack a domestic incident.

5. Ferragamo was arrested and booked on two counts of battery.

She was taken to the Sumter County Detention Center where she was fingerprinted and formally charged. She was released on her own recognizance the following day and will appear in court again in the coming weeks.
