Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian may be sisters, but that doesn’t mean they’ve always seen eye to eye. In fact, over the years, they’ve come to blows too many times to count. It’s clear they value and want very different things in life, and as a result, they tend to butt heads on a regular basis. In fact, during a recent fight over Kim’s Dolce & Gabbana collaboration had her insistence on trying to use Kourtney’s wedding as a “business opportunity,” Kim claimed that Kourtney has no friends besides her new husband, Travis Barker. Ouch, that one stings!
Basically, when Kim attended Kourtney and Travis’s wedding in Portofino, Domenico and Stefano from D&G were there and Kim began chatting to them. They loved her fashion sense and eventually decided that Kim should have an opportunity to design for the high-end label. However, given that the men were Kourtney’s friends first, she believes Kim was trying to steal her spotlight which Kim says just wasn’t the case. Talk about drama!
Well, during the latest episode of “The Kardashians,” the fight continued. Khloe, who has always been a bit closer to Kourtney, attempted to talk to Kim about the issue and voice how their oldest sister is feeling.
Kourtney Kardashian says her friends think Kim’s D&G deal is “weird”
“I hope she’s going to talk to you about it. I really wish she would. She definitely feels like you sort of stole her thunder. And she feels, like, why can’t she have something for herself?” Khloe told Kim. “I have heard that her friends are riling her up. Her words were, ‘Everyone thinks this is the weirdest thing.’”
Khloe also said in a VT that Kourtney, who recently announced her pregnancy, called her crying at one point because “she feels like her wedding moment was taken away from her. She just feels like there’s no loyalty in this family, and everyone wants what the other person has.”
I mean, to be fair to Kim, Kourtney is no designer and never has been. Kim already owns SKIMS and KKW Beauty. Kourtney has… a flailing lifestyle site called POOSH. To say that Kim stole her thunder by securing a Dolce & Gabbana is a bit cheeky, don’t you think? I mean, no one would know who Marilyn Monroe is if it wasn’t for Kim Kardashian, right? (/s)
While Kim initially seemed sympathetic once hearing what Khloe had to say on Kourtney’s behalf, she later became incensed again when she realized her older sister was still talking about her behind her back.
“I shouldn’t have to ask her for permission. I thought I was being really mindful. There were so many collections [I didn’t choose items from],” Kim said in a VT “She’s saying every one of her friends [supports her], but she doesn’t have any friends. So, Travis?”
Oh, snap! This doesn’t seem like a fight that’s ever going to resolve. Does Kourtney Kardashian have friends? I dunno, maybe? But Kim didn’t have to call her out like that — harsh!
