People Are Just Discovering The ‘Correct’ Way To Eat Pringles

Pringles are delicious. When you want something salty and chip-like but not quite as intense, you reach for a tube of Pringles, right? And their longtime tagline of “once you pop, you can’t stop” is certainly true — if you’re not careful, it’s easy to work your way through an entire tube without even realizing it. However, what you didn’t know is that you’re probably eating them all wrong. TikToker @cookinhungry has revealed the “correct” way to eat your Pringles, and it’s blowing people’s minds.

Most of us don’t even think before chowing down.

You just crack open the tube of Pringles, grab a handful, and start working your way through them (in my case, two at a time). However, you probably eat them with the concave side at the bottom of your tongue since that fits in your mouth more naturally. They’re pretty tasty, so why would you ever do it differently?

However, @cookinhungry says that’s the completely wrong way to go about it and that by doing so, you’re missing out on some delicious flavors for one very important reason.

In his video, the TikToker pointed out that Pringles puts most of their seasoning on the OTHER side of the chip that you’re letting hit the roof of your mouth rather than your tongue. That means most of the flavor isn’t ever reaching your taste buds. To prove his point, @cookinhungry rubs one side and says you can clearly feel more seasoning there compared to the opposite side.

That being said, if you never knew that (or even thought about it), you’re not alone. Most people had no idea, and in fact blamed Pringles themselves for the oversight.

“Lol if that how we are suppose to eat them that’s how they should have put them in the containers,” one person said in the comments. That’s a fair point!
