If there’s one thing you should know about Taylor Swift by now, it’s that homegirl does not waste time when it comes to replacing one man with the next. After ending her six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn earlier this year, she quickly moved on with 1975 frontman Matty Healy, only to dump him when she could no longer deal with the bad press she was getting about dating a walking scumbag. However, she hasn’t stayed single for long — Taylor Swift is now in her Travis Kelce era, and she’s become a big NFL fan in order to support her man, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.

  1. Taylor goes from zero to 100 real quick. While checking out an NFL player’s football game is par for the course when you’re dating him, TayTay took it to the next level by watching the game… with Travis Kelce’s mom. Yes, really. She was seen sitting with Donna Kelce throughout the game, chatting away like they were long-time in-laws. Yikes.
  2. Having Taylor there obviously made him play better. During the game between the KC Chiefs and the Chicago Bears, Kelce scored a touchdown in the third quarter, which is pretty impressive. Clearly, Taylor was impressed too, because she immediately began screaming, “Let’s f***ing go!”
  3. How did this even happen? Apparently, back in July, Travis Kelce said he made a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it to give to Taylor Swift during her concert in Kansas City. However, he wasn’t able to pass it on. “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” he said during an interview on his “New Heights” podcast.
  4. He was determined to shoot his shot, though. When he couldn’t get her attention at her concert, Travis decided to slide into Taylor’s DMs, and it actually worked. “I threw the ball in her court. I told her, ‘I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead [Stadium], you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one is a little more lit,” he recalled on “The Pat McAffee Show.” “So we’ll see what happens in the near future.” It obviously worked out!
  5. Who knows, maybe they’re just friends? However, given Taylor’s dating history and the fact that dudes don’t tend to and to hang out on a platonic basis with a woman they’ve expressed clear romantic interest for, this is obviously a thing now. I doubt it’ll last, but hey, at least we’ll get a few decent songs out of it.
