A woman was filmed squatting in the walkway of a Spirit Airlines plane and peeing after crew members reportedly refused to let her use the bathroom for more than two hours. The unidentified passenger can be heard yelling at a flight attendant about the way she was treated in the clip, which was said to be filmed by the same staff member.
“I need to piss two hours, you tell me you cannot, you close the doors,” the weeing woman tells the flight attendant in the clip. “Your plane is stopped. I said I cannot hold the pee.”
The crew member then tells the woman to “say hello to the camera for me,” but the passenger is unfazed and carries on. “You can do whatever you want. You can send a warrant. Arresting me is better than this,” she responds
After about 20 seconds, the woman then stands up, pulls her pants up, and walks away. It’s unclear whether or not she was arrested or faced any further action from either Spirit Airline or the police once passengers disembarked.

Many say this is yet another example of unruly passengers, the number of which has gone way up since the COVID-19 pandemic. However, others could see the passenger’s side as, after a while, it becomes nearly impossible to hold in your pee. Not only that, but doing so is extremely unhealthy.
Flying today is a total nightmare. I have a lot of sympathy for staff members who have to deal with truly unruly passengers who act out for no reason and seem to have forgotten basic human decency. However, passengers aren’t necessarily treated with respect and care when traveling, and being told you can’t use the bathroom for two hours seems extreme.
I’m not sure peeing on the plane for was the appropriate response here, but the woman in question clearly believed it was!
