Adult Film Star Raven Alexis Dies At 35

Award-winning porn star Raven Alexis has sadly passed away at the age of 35. The adult entertainer died last Wednesday from a fatal infection she contracted while battling Crohn’s disease. Her husband confirmed her passing in an Instagram and Facebook video on Thursday, March 31, according to Adult Video News.

  1. Raven’s husband posted a message of thanks to his wife’s many fans. “I want all those people out there to know that she loved you all, she cared about you and I’m just so blessed to have her in my life and be a part of my life,” he said in the clip. “She was the absolute world to me, the love of my life.”
  2. The adult film star experienced extreme “complications” to her health condition. While she’d been diagnosed with Crohn’s prior to her death, it was not this inflammatory condition that caused her passing. Instead, her husband said Raven experienced “complications” from her Crohn’s that led her to go into septic shock while fighting off the infection.
  3. Raven was beloved by her many fans. She first broke into the porn scene as an “internet model” before launching her own explicit sites, RavenAlexis.com and RavensPlayhouse.com. She was then hired by Digital Playhouse before leaving a year later to star in a series of hit porn films. She won many awards over the years for her work in the industry.
  4. Raven previously claimed she’d been diagnosed with stage four liver cancer. Appearing on The Howard Stern Show in 2011, Raven told the host that the illness had metastasized to her brain and that “chemo is hard.” Her boyfriend at the time insisted her story wasn’t true, but Raven never backed down on the claim, instead saying that high-alkaline mineral water cured her, Ranker reports.
