Amber Heard Stuns In First Red Carpet Appearance Since Johnny Depp Trial

Amber Heard has delighted fans after she walked the red carpet at her first major movie premiere since the conclusion of the Johnny Depp defamation trial in 2022. The 37-year-old attended the premiere of her film “In the Fire” at the 69th Taormina Film festival in Taormina, Italy on Saturday, June 24. She wore a black dress with a cape, waving to fans and even taking selfies with many who had come out to show their support for the actress.

Heard was joined by her “In the Fire” co-stars Luca Calvani, Eduardo Noriega, and Yari Gugliucci, as well as director Conor Allyn. Heard says the movie is “about the almost supernatural effect and force of love.”

“It is about the boundaries that love can cross and its creation, and really about the overwhelming power that love has. I don’t want to sound cheesy about it, but it’s a movie about love,” she told People.

I have to say, it’s great to see Amber Heard back in the public eye, this time for a positive reason. She moved to Madrid and left Hollywood behind, and it seems to have done her a world of good. She seems legitimately happy, and she is actually a talented actress. Hopefully, this is the first of many new projects to come. Hopefully, she picks some interesting independent films that tell some fantastic stories.

According to a video shared on TikTok, Heard has multiple films in the pipeline. While there’s nothing new on her IMDB page that we don’t know about yet, that doesn’t mean it’s not happening. She might even be choosing to work behind the cameras in a directing capacity, who knows? Either way, after everything she’s been through over the past five years or so, we definitely wish her all the success and happiness in the world.
