Dairy Queen Is Bringing Back The Mint Oreo Blizzard For St. Patrick’s Day Dairy Queen

My personal motto is basically Oreo in everything, especially in ice cream. DQ Blizzards have always been my jam regardless of the mix-in, but America’s favorite cookie was always my #1 choice. However, March is about to see things taken to a whole new level of deliciousness since the Dairy Queen Mint Oreo Blizzard is back on the menu for a limited time!

  1. If anything could make an Oreo Blizzard better, it’s mint. For some reason, the two just go together so well. McDonald’s is already offering an Oreo Shamrock McFlurry to honor St. Patrick’s Day so it only makes sense for Dairy Queen to get back in the festive spirit as well by bringing back the Mint Oreo Blizzard.
  2. It’s everything you need in a dessert. If you’ve never been to Dairy Queen, never tried a Blizzard, or simply can’t imagine what this tastes like for some reason, I’ll keep it simple: it’s vanilla soft serve with Oreo pieces and creme de menthe (i.e. mint) combined to make the most perfect dessert in creation, at least in my opinion.
  3. The Mint Oreo Blizzard is sticking around for the entire month of March. Dairy Queen has made it the Blizzard of the Month, as well they should because this deserves to be celebrated. That means that even if you can’t make it to your local DQ before St. Patty’s day, you’ll still be able to get your hands on one of these puppies through March 31. It should be year ’round though, just sayin’.
  4. If you prefer shakes to blizzards, you’re in luck. Also for the month of March, DQ will be selling a Mint Shake made with milk, their vanilla soft serve, and creme de menthe before being topped off with some tasty whipped cream for even more indulgence. I don’t know what to order first!
